Chiropractic Marketing - How to Beat the Current Recession

I have trouble believing that it’s been a whole 3 years since I brought the power of Web 2.0 marketing and social media to the chiropractic profession. After humbly beginning to market on sites like YouTube, and Facebook, my success has grown to countless social media outlets all over the internet. The growth of the Web 2.0 boom could almost be labeled as faster than an online virus expanding for 3 solid years. The internet and communications are continuing to change with every passing second, and this expansion has the ability to expand your chiropractic practice with equal force and intensity. Not only that; the potential for earning multiple forms of income, simultaneously, is amazing.

Chiropractic consultants were once able to help humble practices earn more money and market themselves better. Today, this is no longer the case. In fact, every time a chiropractic practice puts down money for one of these groups, they’re completely losing that money. They’ll never see it again. Why is this? Consultants today don’t know a darn thing about Web 2.0 and social media, and the things they do know no longer work.

Quite frankly, my “economy” is booming just like the hundreds of other chiropractors that have started to implement strategic methods for social media marketing. A global shift has occurred and the question you have to ask is, “Do you want to be a part of this goldmine or do you want to be left-out in the cold?”

Here are some of the sites that are helping me reach higher levels of success each day. I suggest you give them a try, and see the magic they can work for your chiropractic practice. The Web 2.0 powerhouses include YouTube.com, Squidoo.com, EzineArticles.com, StumbleUpon.com, Facebook.com, Twitter.com, Myspace.com, Free-Press-Release.com, Wordpress.com, Photobucket.com, Furl.com, and eHow.com. Give them a try, and you won’t be disappointed.

There are greater than two-hundred websites that are empty canvases for your marketing masterpiece. For the sake of example, I only named a few. If you really want to tap into the full power of it, you need someone who is knowledgeable in all of these sites, and the specific tactics for how to milk them. The good news is, you don’t need to do it alone. Your profession and skill is at being a chiropractor, so you need to find someone who can expertly do these things for you, and teach you along the way.

Even the incredible time saving and leveraged-based tools I use and recommend can be easily shown to a CA or marketing director for use. The most important thing is to be coachable, as this may be a new language to many chiropractic marketing newbies and veterans.

You can even make your practice an online money-maker with Web 2.0 social media. There’s nothing that beats getting-up in the morning and knowing that Web 2.0 has been working for you throughout the night, making more money and connections. Sometimes it seems like a dream that business can happen so effortlessly and successfully, but there are other chiropractors who are living this dream, so I know it’s a reality.

When you create other forms of income while marketing your practice online, you make your practice entirely recession-proof; nothing can stop you. You need to be courageous and an innovator to do this. You have to think out of the box and ride the wave of the future.

Concentrate on providing a large amount of value to your existing and potential patients on the web. This medium allows you to put yourself in front of a local and global audience eager to hear what you have to say. Don’t fret, you are an expert in your own right. Trust me, you have plenty to talk about even though you might not see it yet. You could take a specific aspect of your chiropractic practice (nutrition, personal injury, back-pain, etc…) and develop a YouTube video channel around it with a series of weekly videos, as an example.

The sky’s the limit, so be one of the innovators that are using Web 2.0 in a new and constructive way to create business and lasting relationships with new patients. While you’re at it, create other streams of income that ensure the continued health and growth of your practice.

I agree with you that online marketing can really boom a practice but how can you do that with the sites listed. I understand that you use them, but what you seemed to be lacking in your post was exactly how you go about getting people to become patients from using those listed websites and services. I’ve seen a lot of people talking about how online/internet/social media marketing can increase your income, etc… but now one is saying exactly how they are doing it with those websites.

So do you have any hints to how exactly we should use those sites to increase and reach more patients?

Thanks!

Web 2.0 is really a terrific way to build relationships with existing patients as well as getting referrals. I also integrate in office policies to improve patients interactions. I will often offer an intensive for their participation, like free Chiropractic service for 10 sign ups. Their are many other Chiropractic related offers that you can do. great information!

This is clearly Christopher Norberg’s version of conversations with the doctor relating to a billing dispute and his opinion of how the doctor was behaving,” Blacksburg said on Tuesday. “This is clear opinion that falls squarely within constitutionally protected speech.”

Helping to raise chiropractor on market was a good idea. It will help promote chiropractor and Chiropractor will grow fast as the market rise.

Yes, social media on the web is huge. I find for most chiros, just getting out there on the web will make a big difference getting more patients in the door. There’s so few guys doing this stuff out there that you can easily dominate the local competition.

This is an absolute must do if you want patients from the web. You need more than a website that just sits there. You need to feed it web juice so it can perform for you.
